Out With The Old, In With The New

by Rania Combs

Champagne ExplosionThis month marks my firm’s fourth anniversary, and big changes are happening in the way I serve my clients.

In December, I started the process of migrating all my client files to the MyCase case management software.  The MyCase interface is very intuitive and user-friendly, and will enable me to serve my clients better.

As with the Total Attorneys platform, the MyCase software uses the same technology used by online banking and government institutions to keep client data secure. Clients can use the MyCase platform to request appointments, send me messages, upload and download documents, access invoices and pay legal bills in a secure online environment.  About half a dozen of my clients tested it out for me in December and loved it!

The process of transferring client files is tedious and time consuming but I’m confident the end result will be worth it. I hope to have all my client files transferred by the end of the month.

Happy New Year!

    Rania–

There must be some kind of weird ephemeral link between your firm and mine. I, too, have been open about 4 years. And I too am switching from TA to MyCase. I transitioned my client matters over in November and am working on figuring out client portal access. I appreciate most how the MyCase interface is so intuitive.

Best wishes on 2014 and good luck with the MyCase transition!
